From the beginning of the water purifier, the filter element is an important part of * *, and the early filter element is a bottle structure. The purification technology of water purifier is developing rapidly, but the change of filter element technology is relatively slow. At present, there are mainly three types of filter elements recognized.

One kind of bottle filter element, which appeared very early, refers to placing activated carbon, PPcotton and other filter materials in the bottle and then installing them on the water purifier with professional tools. The bottle type filter element has the advantages of low manufacturing and replacement cost, large filtration flow and long service time, but it also has the disadvantages of replacement trouble (requiring professional personnel and professional tools), secondary pollution (the filter bottle is only washed with water, and will contact the filter material during replacement) and so on. At present, the bottle type filter element has only changed in the shell material. Most enterprises still use plastic material, and a few enterprises use transparent resin material or stainless steel material. At present, the mainstream filter element of * * is still bottle type, such as the RO machine and ultrafiltration machine of most enterprises such as Angel and Qinyuan. With the continuous upgrading of filter elements by various mainstream brands, the use of different filter elements has also become a way for water purifier enterprises to distinguish between medium-high and low-end products.
There is also a quick-plug filter element, which can also be called quick-connect filter element. Because * * is an imported product from Korea, it is occasionally called Korean quick-plug filter element in the industry. One of its outstanding features is to change the bottle filter element from open type to closed type, and to replace the filter element in the maintenance of the filter element. When replacing the filter element, the entire filter bottle needs to be directly removed and discarded, instead of replacing only the filter material like the bottle type. The replacement personnel cannot directly contact the filter material, thus avoiding secondary pollution. Of course, it is also because the shell is replaced more than the bottle filter element, so the quick-plug filter element is much higher than the bottle filter element in terms of manufacturing cost and filter element price. In addition, in terms of volume, the volume of the quick-plug filter element is about one quarter of that of the bottle filter element, so the filtration flow is smaller than that of the traditional bottle filter element. However, the quick-plug filter element is also immature, and its replacement still requires professional personnel and professional tools. In addition, due to the many interfaces of quick-plug filter element and the unstable technology, water leakage accidents are also common. At present, many domestic brands in the industry, such as Midea, Qinyuan and Angel, are selling water purifiers with quick-plug filter elements, and most of them appear as luxury models.
The third is the snap type filter element. In April 2013, Midea launched the kitchen water purifier with ONE-TOUCH integrated filter element (plug-in filter element). Unlike the ordinary filter element, the snap-on filter element adopts an integrated design, and the filter element is completely sealed. When replacing the filter element, it can be realized by simply rotating. Before Midea, some enterprises in the industry have adopted the plug-in filter element, such as Jiuyang and Taiwan Jindiyuan. Due to the restriction of production technology, the plug-in filter element has not been widely promoted in the industry, and its volume is much smaller than that of the bottle filter element, and its short service life makes the plug-in filter element difficult to be favored by consumers and dealers. However, it is undeniable that the plug-in filter element has the advantages of Korean quick-plug filter element without secondary pollution, and it also has the advantage of no need for professional tools to install. After the filter element is bought home, consumers can disassemble and replace the filter element by themselves, which is very simple and convenient, greatly reducing after-sales costs, and the uniqueness of the filter element enables dealers to achieve secondary profits by selling the filter element. At present, with more well-known brands such as Midea joining the camp of the plug-in filter element, brands such as Bentay have also improved the plug-in filter element again, increasing its volume and extending its service life.
